Workshop: Self-Promotion - The Next Step …
Networking and connecting is a very important component of making an impression and getting yourself known. Becoming a better conversationalist and thinking on your feet are skill sets that can be learned and practiced to improve your self-confidence and communication in impromptu situations. (approx. 1 h)
Facilitated by: Dr. Mike (Mose) Moseley, PhD.
"Professionally, I was a Director in Global Development & Operations and Global Project Team Leader. During my 35+ year tenure I worked for Upjohn, Pharmacia, Pfizer and Zoetis serving both in Discovery and Product Development as a Director of Clinical Operations and member of the Global R&D Leadership team working with every level of employee – “C”suite, line managers and entry level across our Organization – including Research, Development, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing, globally and domestically. For 25+ years, I supervised direct reports and lead Global Project teams. I am delighted to say that I have been a Dale Carnegie Instructor for 26+ years and strongly endorse personal development. I have been an invited speaker to Scientific Meetings and numerous college campuses speaking to undergraduate and graduate students and faculty on the importance of communication, interpersonal relationships, leadership and interviewing skills as important components of successful career development. Currently, I am consulting in the Animal Health Pharmaceutical R&D area, a Dale Carnegie Trainer and a Personal Performance Consultant and Trainer. "
