    Job Description
    We are a family business that is known for our fun and exciting atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Front of House Manager to join our team!
     
    We need someone who is passionate about the industry and is ready to step in to a fast-paced team. Our Front of House Manager works in the front of house, leading our team to success. They are responsible for overseeing our front of house staff, providing exceptional customer service, and bringing ideas to take our service to the next level!
     
    Think that’s you? We are looking for someone who will:
    • Serve as a positive example for providing exceptional customer care
    • Act as a constant presence on the floor to ensure service is running smoothly and enforcing all rules and regulations amongst staff
    • Administer daily retail functions including, but not limited to; opening and closing responsibilities, bank drops, change orders, petty cash handling, ATM, tips for payroll, and maintain up-to-date financial records
    • Provide direct management for all front of house staff
    • Responsible for holding front of house staff accountable for their job responsibilities
    • Work hand-in-hand with all front of house staff to provide on-the-job training in the areas of product knowledge, customer service, and food service procedures
    • Responsible for completing the front of house schedule
    • Regulate server floor plan to ensure fair distribution of tables amongst servers
    • Responsible for overseeing weekly and monthly inventory and verifying that it is done accurately
    • Responsible for weekly ordering
    • Book, coordinate, and monitor party reservations. Maintain reservation book daily, ensuring it is up-to-date with scheduled parties and tours
    • Perform interviews and make hiring and termination decisions
    • Monitor social media sites and online feedback to stay abreast of customer opinions
    • Develop new drink recipes for menu changes
    • Ongoing working knowledge of the POS system
    • Update training materials as directed by the Training and Development Director
    • Respond to email and phone inquiries regarding Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant
    • Provide direct support to the Executive Chef and Head Chef
    • Write weekly update for staff including but not limited to; menu changes, special events, information regarding other locations, etc.
    • Cross trained and available to work any front of house position as needed
    • Develop and build teams to promote a positive, productive work environment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications:
    • Positive team player with excellent communication skills
    • Tech savvy
    • Experience with POS software
    • A natural born leader with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend and night shifts
    • Previous management experience required
