Job Description
The event specialist will plan, execute, and oversee events in the Shadowland Ballroom. Other duties may include assisting associate event manager in their events, invoicing, ordering, overseeing staff, beverage inventory, training event staff, coordinating menus with our in-house chef, managing and scheduling summer staff, overseeing building when other management are not on site, marketing though social media, and sales. Prior event experience preferred. A working knowledge of computer systems and audio visual equipment preferred. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. This position is salary plus commission.
