Candidates will be entering the tool and die making field as apprentices. They will be responsible for assisting in many of the first steps of the tool making process. operating lathes, mills, grinder, overhead cranes, reading blueprints and using computers will all be parts of the job description. The intention is to learn how to be a tool maker.
Critical- must have mechanical ability and experience. Things like welding, mechanic, troubleshooting, blueprints, and machining are all good skills.
Must have a desire to build and develop a career.
Pay starts at $12.00 an hour.
This is a first shift position.
