General Summary (What is done and why)
The Regional Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all member and public communications and marketing campaigns for each UFCU region. The Coordinator utilizes all channels at his/her disposal to communicate the unique selling proposition of the organization in order to drive loan and deposit goals as well as the three primary membership objectives 1.) Acquisition, 2.) Share of Wallet, 3.) Retention. The channels utilized may be either on or offline: website, social media, emails, e-newsletters, newspaper, radio, outdoor, in-branch, events, publicity, SEM, etc. Understands UFCU’s brand and verbal identity, value proposition, differentiator and flawlessly communities this with a local, authentic feel within each market. Coordinates locally-based efforts such as sponsorships, large-donations and events arm-in-arm with the branches to create a foundation of awareness for UFCU. The Coordinator also utilizes social media channels, content marketing, and adhoc marketing efforts to support each region in achieving brand awareness and growth goals.

Essential Functions, in Priority Order
(Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary)
Responsible for coordinating and executing against regionalized marketing plans that accomplish branch goals such as grow members, grow loans and grow deposits. This includes multi-media campaigns utilizing the most effective channels based on each community/target audience, etc. Works closely with regionalized marketing agencies as well as retail staff. Time: 35%
Responsible for coordinating region and branch-level events, sponsorships, promotional items, and large-scale donations in order to build brand awareness and support branch employee efforts. Develops positive working relationship with branch staff and understands each market. Acts as a partner in developing and growing their business. Tracks efforts, budget and spend. Time: 50%
Responsible for the metrics, reporting and tracking of all regionalized marketing efforts, donations, sponsorships, promotional items, etc. Time: 15%

Bachelor's degree in related field or two years of related work experience required.(Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position)
In addition to the education requirement:
Three to five year's marketing, communications, journalism, or public relations experience required.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) required.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required.
Social media experience preferred.
Project management experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of writing and implementing marketing plans.

Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from prolonged work at the computer. Deadlines, workloads and pressure to achieve goals may cause increased stress levels.

Internal -- Work is normally performed in climate controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines or special meetings.
