Job Description
Staff needed at Flagship, 2 locations, Lakeside Michigan and Benton Harbor Michigan. Contact: Rachel Collins C; 312/961-7347 or info@flagshipfoods.com 

Needed in Lakeside, 4 positions:  
 
Front of House-deli/cashier & point of sale support. Duties include opening setup & cash drawer counts. POS touch-screen experience a plus. Keeping track of food dates, placing orders with kitchen for to-go orders, light cleaning, refilling food in cases and dry goods, weighing and wrapping seafood for sale, and closing duties on cash drawer. We teach and train in seafood knowledge. Helping the kitchen when needed on dishwashing or other general support.  
 
Back of House-Experienced Cooks and a Kitchen Manager. KM duties include prioritizing production of deli food cooking and executing catering menus. Inventory management important, will liaison with Management for ordering. FISH CUTTING to order is a crucial part of both Line Cook & KM skills, WE TRAIN. Prefer experience on the job, but we will consider working with Culinary Students. Line cooks will make recipes and execute on-demand cooked food orders as needed. All Back of House staff do dishes when needed.  
 
Dishwashers are also being hired for Lakeside. Some basic food prep may be needed.  
 
Needed in Benton Harbor, 3 positions:

Experienced Cooks-Inventory management important, will communicate with Management for ordering. Fish cutting skills will be taught. We prefer experience on the job, but we will consider working with Culinary Students. Line cooks will make recipes and execute on-demand cooked food orders as needed. All Back of House staff do dishes when needed.  
 
Butcher/Fish Cutter-Experience cutting meat or seafood preferred, although standard knife skills can suffice, & we will train further. Ability to speak to customers at Point of Sale required, all seafood information will be taught to you.
