News Release: REGISTER FOR WINTER CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS AT KRASL ART CENTER

BEAT THE WINTER TERM DOLDRUMS WITH ENRICHING ARTISTIC EXPERIENCES

Krasl Art Center (KAC) is proud to announce the winter 2019 class and workshop schedule, offering youth workshops on January 3 and 4, and classes starting Monday, January 21, 2019. Classes are open to both KAC members and non-members and are available for all age ranges and skill levels. Students must register 10 days before class begins. Full class information is available online at krasl.org, or pick up a full class schedule at the center; 707 Lake Boulevard, St. Joseph, Mich.
 
Add some fun to your winter break! Winter Break Camps are scheduled for January 3 and 4 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, including Holiday Claymation and Arctic Animal Paintings. Registration is open until January 2. After-school youth classes (ages 5-12) are available in ceramics, mixed media, and drawing and painting beginning Tuesday, January 22. Visit krasl.org for full class listings and to register today.
 
Adult/teen (ages 13+) classes include Drawing from Observation, Introduction to Acrylics, Saturday Photography Excursions and Carve Your Own Barn Swallow. Intermediate and advanced students may apply to work independently in the 2D or Clay Artist Guild, or register for a visiting artist workshop such as Portrait Photography: Lighting and TechniquesMixed Media and Collage, or Image Transfers on Clay.
 
Krasl Art Center is proud to offer many free and fun art activities for families! Beginning January 9, join us at the Benton Harbor Public Library on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 5-6:30 pm for Family Nights or at the Krasl Art Center on the 2nd Saturday of every month, 11 am-12:30 pm for Family Days. Adults and children work together on fun art activities and enjoy snacks and beverages. KAC is excited to be a venue for the Coastline Children’s Film Festival for 10 days beginning on March 8, including the Opening Night Costume Party and the Grand Finale Silent Film Screening.
